If you are not familiar with Poker play in Florida, the maximum single bet in ring games allowed has raised from the Previous $2 Limit effective July 1, 2007. The various rooms in Florida generally offer games in Hold‘em, Stud, and Omaha with $100 maximum buy-in. If you want to play higher limits, you will either have to go on-line or out 3 miles, on a gambling boat, the State $200 maximum limit does not apply and $4-8 and $10-20 ring games can be found on boats and games as high as $300-$600 can be found on the on-line cardrooms.

Currently, the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the Miccosukee Tribe operate all of the South Florida casinos.

They Are growing: The Coconut Creek Casino, the fifth Seminole gaming center in the state, will enter Phase II of development within the next 2 years. In this phase 100,000 sq. ft. additional space will be added in the form of additional gaming space, venue of restaurants, casino offices and expanded parking.

A meeting/ convention hotel is planned for Phase III. At this stage, the casino will quickly become a destination area.
