If you are not
familiar with Poker play in Florida, the
maximum single bet in ring games allowed
has raised from the Previous $2 Limit
effective July 1, 2007. The various rooms
in Florida generally offer games in
Hold‘em, Stud, and Omaha with $100
maximum buy-in. If you want to play
higher limits, you will either have to go
on-line or out 3 miles, on a gambling
boat, the State $200 maximum limit does
not apply and $4-8 and $10-20 ring games
can be found on boats and games as high as
$300-$600 can be found on the on-line
cardrooms.

Hollywood Greyhound Tracks Poker Room is open 7 days a
week from 12 noon until 12 midnight, December 1st through
May 31st.
There are three games that are played in the poker room:
1. 7 Card Stud
2. Texas Hold'em
3. Omaha Hi-Lo
With the new rules for the Poker Room there is no longer a
$10 table limit. Instead there are 3 raises per round with
$2 maximum bet. There is a $20 buy-in. |
